These movers are theives... i worked with the detective to find my missing items that they took from the company removingamerica and held it hostage for more money in maryland instead of bringing it here it has been 7 months with the detectives in md. and ga...if anybody has used budget moving and storage lll or removingamerica, llc or damian movers,llc or othercompany hired by alliance van lines, llc. and had thier stuff stolen...i think i know where it is and who has it..econo van lines and i'm working to see what other company he has...it is probably at 12300 carroll ave rockville, md. 20852 the name is zlatomir attanasov (202) 375-8531 he is holding all the things from this company and other dummy moving companies like the one above... he's the hider..so call him or if you are removingamerica, llc like me...he probably has your stuff because my company was fake and the owner was a young girl in mexico name itzel mayan... so if you want johnathan try (240) 805-0723... and if you want to sue i have any thing you need... llc papers home addressed affiliations and everything... now because the police came to their door... they put my name on movers. com and has movers calling and emailing me all night...they need to be stopped... it has been 7 months of hell for me... The personality of the movers were the only bright spot of the entire experience.

1. The packing aspect is terrible. They'll put anything in close proximity in your home together in a box with minimal packing paper and wrap it up. Glass, frames, light bulbs, food, it didn't matter. If it was close, they "packed" it. Luckily, I packed the majority of my own boxes.

2. I was told by "Charles" (I think that's his name) that my vehicle would be shipped. I was also told by one of the movers that, "the truck to pick up your vehicle will be here between 2 and 3pm. They never showed. Finally, when the "packing" was over they said "Yeah, we're going to drive your vehicle to our storage facility in Maryland to be loaded on the truck for shipping". That was a lie.

The whole purpose of me having it shipped was to AVOID putting 100's of miles on it and what did they do? They drove it from Charlottesville, VA to Rockville, MD and then from Rockville, MD to Florence, KY where I relocated. When asked WHY!!?? It was said "Oh, well, the transport company didn't show up and we had to drive it". This is AFTER the movers showed up to the new address! I also asked for a refund because the service wasn't performed as in the contract, it was said "Well, if you look at it, we saved you from having to wait an extra month to get it shipped".

I'm sorry but, it's a scam because I don't think they planned to ship it in the first place. They came prepared to drive it from start to finish now that I replay everything in my mind. The plates were expired and there is no insurance on the vehicle so, if there was an accident or it broke down, I would've been responsible for any deaths and/or damages. I was told "We have umbrella insurance so we're good". My fiancé is in insurance and says that that's not how umbrella insurance works. I could've been on the hook for thousands of dollars in damages because of their scam. There was no communication until AFTER the vehicle pulled up to inform me it would've been driven or to ask if they could drive it. They also left the gas tank nearly empty upon arrival today!

3. I have 8 packing blankets because they never unwrapped and put together the items that they took apart.

4. There was an attempt to put the bed frame together but, on my inspection after they left, I saw that it was worse than what a 2-year old would've done. I had to pull everything out and redo it myself. This was part of their service that wasn't completed per their contract.

5. The place was left a mess after they left. Boxes scattered everywhere, tape thrown and left on the floor, trash left outside the door.

6. I asked for an agreement to review and never got it. This leads me to believe that they are really into scamming and scheming people who put their trust, time and money in them to actually do what they're paid to do.

I will be requesting my $500 back for the shipping of my vehicle that never happened. I have 2 tires that are flat from the driving their movers/drivers performed without my permission. If my money is not returned I will be filing a lawsuit. My best friend is an attorney and said he will GLADLY accept the case if a refund is not processed immediately.

A total scam of a company and I wouldn't trust them to move me across the street! Never again will you get my business or anyone that I know or who will read this! You should be ashamed of yourselves and your practices.

I got a estimate for 8600 for my move from VA to TX and I paid 9318. I was satisfied even with the balance that I paid because Alex explained me since the beginning that they pack everything in the right way in order to protect my belongs for the whole performance. That was totally fair because I have so many thing really valuable and the brought all my stuff in really great condition. I did not pay anything else rather than that, it worth any peny I spent. Thank you guys.

I am very disappointed with this moving company.   We were quoted $420 for a move within 10 miles. We were billed with an appalling $1200.  The movers used almost $400 in packing supplies that we did not authorize.  There was no warning of this ahead of time.  Our apartment was packed very well before they came.  We were charged for 24 rolls of tape at $5 each.  There is so much tape on stuff we didn't need taped that it actually is caused problems getting it off.  Ex: wicker hampers, chairs, plastic self sealing storage containers etc. If I had known, self sealing containers were going to need extra tape, I would have just bought a roll for $.99 and reinforced it myself.  Another example,  I was carrying wrapping paper out to my car.  The guy offered to get it for me.  I thought he was being a nice gentleman.  Not using it as an excuse to tack on a $23 box.  Absolutely ridiculous!   Another crazy charge is the fuel.   When first explained, 10% on 414 = $41 for a tank of gas.  No big deal.  All of a sudden, you throw in all the extra fees and we're at $120 for a truck parked all day?!?  That really makes no sense.  We were also billed for their 1.5 hour lunch hour break.  When I scheduled the move on the phone, I said 5 hours was a low estimate and I was guessing closer to 8.  I was expecting around $700, but never $1200.   

They get 2 stars vs one bc the movers were polite and respectful to us.  I was impressed with their ability to lift things.  However, based on being charged triple what the quote for the move was, I would be highly unlikely to ever recommend  Budget Moving & Storage.

Please do not consider these movers. The packers did a decent job, but the movers and the company as much are pretty harsh in answering the questions. I had an interstate move and asked if the goods can be delivered on a September 4th 2017, owing to the long weekend. The person who came to check the size of the home AGREED to that and said it was POSSIBLE. That was the reason I did not approach another movers company. On the day of the move they were supposed to come early, but delayed. Did not even bother calling and informing about the delay. I had to call multiple times and finally they arrived after two hours. It's not my problem, if your guys drove the whole night and helped another move. YOU should have planned accordingly. I called on September the 2nd and the person who answered was pretty harsh and just yelled on me over the phone. Note that you were paid to do the job and did not do it free of cost. You have no right to yell on your customer. They never said that we had to pay extra fees for getting our own truck for the move. Now, on the 2nd I called and asked him whether the goods will be delivered on the 4th. He yelled stating that this is NOT A PIZZA DELIVERY. ** IT WAS YOUR GUY WHO AGRED FOR THE DATE OF DELIVERY. Then he stated that they have combined our move with others. The only reason I did not raise my voice was because our goods were still with them. Just yelling at the top pf your voice does not prove anything. You have not done any favour..we paid you to do the job. I WILL NEVER EVER CONSIDER THEM AGAIN AND ALSO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANY ONE MOVING FROM MD.

Original relocation company didn't show up in time. Last minute
call to Budget moving was the best call I ever made. We were
under lot of stress to move our daughter in a short Window of time.
John Atanasov at Budget moving was so good and efficient in
timely arranging everything for us and making it a complete
success move on a short notice.

It was the best price he gave us. Really very thankful for everything Budget moving did for us.

We moved last weekend and it was a breeze with Budget Moving.

From to start to finish, they were professional and the workers were diligent. I felt comfortable and confident in dealing with John and his crew.

We used the full packing service. Everything came in tact except for 1 glass. Nothing damaged or broken.

The packed and loaded my 3 bedroom town home and delivered the next day.

Highly recommend this company. Will use them again for sure.

Vampires! Do not let this company into your house!!

We are in the middle of a horrible standoff with this company. We hired a five-star company, Safebound Logistics, for a cross-country move, but it's been a disaster because they subcontracted with Budget Moving. Safeboung provided us a binding estimate and promised they would pack, move, and store our stuff. We did a detailed video chat with them to show them every corner of our stuff and discuss packing needs in depth.

On the first day, everything was going to get packed, and the next day loaded on the truck. The movers showed up and everything seemed great. They were efficient and friendly. They kept asking if we wanted certain items packed in cardboard or not. By the end of the first day, they said they were running out of boxes and would need to come the next day. We offered to run to the store to get some more boxes, but they said they could just bring the next day.

They came back the next day with the truck and started loading everything us. The foreman told us we needed to sign an amended estimate for --- wait for it ---- nearly $5000 more than the binding estimate. How could this be? All those cardboard boxes.. $25 bucks or more a pop. So when they wrapped dining table top in about 8 boxes, that was an extra $200. The bottom wrapped in cardboard, another couple hundred bucks worth of cardboard.

Looking at the revised estimate closer, we realized that we weren't even talking to Safebound anymore. They had sent us a completely different company called Budget Moving, a one-star moving company with an F on BBB and tons of complaints here. All the complaints are true! Safebound had NEVER told us they were subcontracting and we never would have approved Budget.

We told the Budget foreman that we would work out pricing differences with Safebound and could not sign the new terms. The foreman told us if we didn't sign they would leave 1/3 of our stuff on the curb and drive off with the rest. He knew that we were closing on our house and needed to be out the next day. I signed the new contract, but crossed off many of the bogus charges and other terms.

At this point, the Budget guys became aggressive with our stuff and started throwing it around and dragging it on the floors. They completely scratched up the hardwood floors. We were so embarrassed for the new owners to see what happened to their beautiful house.

I called Safebound and Budget several times that day and the next week to complain, but never got any meaningful response. When they did respond, they said they were standing by their subcontractor. They offered $1000 off the inflated price and would see if they could send someone to fix the floors. But they continued to claim we had 100 more items than in their video conference inventory, now using the subcontractors counting scheme. Over the video conference with Safebound, a King Bed was one item. Now, Budget Moving counted it as seven items - a mattress, a box spring, a frame, and four sides of the bed itself. Multiple that by every piece of furniture and it's easy to see where the "extra" 100 items come from.

We are terrified they are going to keep our items hostage, or it's all going to come back busted. I will update this review when we get out stuff back. I hope it all is resolved, but I want to warn others in the meantime! Proceed with caution!
